Thought Leadership and Personal Branding Videos

There's no escaping it. If you're in business, you need to be on LinkedIn. And this is even more important if you sell to other business professionals and are a startup founder within the B2B space. It's clear that a LOT of people are starting to figure out just how important LinkedIn really is when it comes to growing and scaling a successful business. Unlike ever before, LinkedIn has become busier, more popular and filled with massive opportunity for entrepreneurs to really make an impact in their industry.

For anyone who's ever Googled "How to grow your LinkedIn Company page" you'll quickly realize there are over 168 million search results and over 1 million Youtube videos alone. But the truth is , your LinkedIn company page is worthless. It's practically an utter waste of time if you're trying to grow your LinkedIn network, find new clients or generate new leads. And while there are thousands of videos about how to improve your company page, all the stats show that no one is going to generate traffic and leads from having a stellar LinkedIn company profile.

So, no one is reading your emails . . . Whether it’s cold emails to prospects, follow up emails to potential partnerships, marketing emails to your list you think you’re sending them great content. Content that will stop them in their tracks and pay attention to what you have to say and offer. But in reality your open rates are extremely low. So, why won’t anyone open your emails? There's no doubt email is often a crucial strategy to how many of us grow our businesses. It’s the way we connect with or audience and ultimately sell to ideal clients.

We've covered in past videos about various challenges entrepreneurs face when it comes to growing their business and personal brand. But when we narrow it down, there's really two main reasons why entrepreneurs continue to struggle to build a personal brand that actually grows their business. And yes, we can find thousands of articles online that walk us through the importance of a personal brand, social media strategies and tips to creating social content (editing videos, writing emails, crafting quote images, etc.)

Imposter syndrome is one of those tricky things that can impact nearly everything we do. And that's especially true when it comes to being an entrepreneur. And if you need a quick refresher . . . imposter syndrome is that little voice inside of our heads that convinces us that we don't actually know what we're doing, so we shouldn't take risks just in case people begin to think we're a fraud. Which couldn't be further from the truth.

One of the biggest advantages to doing podcast interviews, whether you're a host or a guest, is that it produces a TON of content that you can share to ALL of your social channels. And when you're trying to run a business and especially scale your business, content and marketing is often #1 most time consuming part of the day to day grind. So finding any social growth strategy that can make the content process 10x easier, it's worth it.
